Orchard Blog-to-Come

A decision needs to be made here.

My interest in a blog for this orchardist network was simply to have an easy way to post immediate orchard observations on occasion. One format for doing this can be found on blogger.com. This would solely be my voice, which is more than represented on this site already. To be honest, any writer with newsletter intentions tends to collect such daily thoughts for article content. One can only be connected in so many ways in this technological world now before us!

Sienna (our very talented webster and apple lover in her own right) suggested we might like to have a branch of GrowOrganicApples.com that allows group interaction. Check out groworganicapples.grou.ps. I'm quite open to this if several people shout hey. I admit to a preference to pose my questions with the web discussion groups currently in existence. Then again, an in-house posting site might be just what an active network could use to advantage. One requisite for a mutual blogging effort would be having someone (other than me!) volunteer to serve as moderator for this aspect of our networking site.

Let me know what you think. We'll proceed on the blog front come winter time.

Cheers,
Michael
